Excellent essay as always. Post-modernists hate your basic argument because it makes people responsible for their own actions. Yes, occasionally there are external forces that shape your experience, but how you choose to react to them is up to you.

Thank you! I absolutely agree - you can always choose to do the right or wrong thing no matter what happens to you. You can make life better or worse, and you can choose to be the hero or the villain of your own story. Of course postmodernists reject those categories completely, but that's because they don't want to recognize that they're the bad guys 😜
